<image:title>About - Meet Shelly… Shelly is a licensed Physical Therapist in WA state, USA. She was born in Mexico City, at 19 she moved to Toronto, Canada to complete a bachelor degree in Kinesioloy from the University of Toronto. After graduating, she spent 3 years working in clinical research at SickKids hospital with children with congenital heart disease. In 2013, she moved to Kingston, ON to complete her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Queens University. Two babies later, she found herself in Seattle WA, landing her dream job as a physical therapist at Seattle Children’s Hospital. For Shelly, motherhood has inevitably shed a light into the importance of pelvic floor function for good health. Shelly founded Happy Potty Time in 2020 in the midst of a pandemia as she realized the science of pelvic floor physical therapy has a clear place in pediatrics. She has completed continuing education in physical therapy treatment for the pediatric pelvic floor through the American Physical Therapy Association and she is committed to lifelong learning to best serve her pediatric clients. When she’s not working or taking care of her 2 little ones (or doing laundry, or cooking, or cleaning up after the family) you can find Shelly running around Green Lake in Seattle.</image:title>

      <image:title>Home - Hi! I’m Shelly</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a mom too. I get it—this stage can feel completely overwhelming and, frankly, exhausting. When I was preparing for this process with my younger daughter, I decided to dive deep into the world of pediatric pelvic health. What I found fascinated me: it is incredibly common for families to struggle with toileting issues, yet there is so little clinical support available to help them navigate it. My mission is to change that. I want to provide you with the clinical resources and neurodevelopmental tools to empower you as a parent, so you can support your child in achieving full bowel and bladder independence with confidence—not stress. How I can help you today: The Masterclass: A 60-minute deep dive into the 5 steps of successful potty learning. Perfect for getting started on the right foot. 1:1 Clinical Consultation: A private, 45-minute session to troubleshoot "Red Flags" like withholding, anxiety, or physical guarding.</image:caption>
